Chateau de Fontainebleau

Chateau de Fontainebleau is a royal estate preceding the better known Versailles, located about an hour south of Paris. The beautifully ornate castle and its gardens served as a hunting lodge and summer home for the French monarchy for hundreds of years. The intricate "M" logo can be seen on furniture and millwork designed for Marie Antoinette in an elegant bedroom suite.
